To save a round trip, tell us your iOS version and what you saw on screen. Please do not send passwords — we will never ask for one.
Open the breach in Ward — each one has a short plan: change the password, check whether you reused it elsewhere, turn on two-factor authentication. The order matters, and the plan puts the step that closes the most exposure first.
A breach cannot be undone. What you can change is what an attacker gets to do with it.
It means we found nothing in the sources available to us. Breaches routinely surface months or years after they happen, which is exactly why daily monitoring exists. An empty result is not a guarantee, and we try never to present it as one.
To check it against published breach records. The address is stored encrypted and is decrypted only inside the job that performs the check. Checking a breach database requires sending the address to it — this is explained in full in the Privacy Policy, section 4.
Because iOS will not tell an app the name and security type of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to without it. Your location is never read, stored, or transmitted — only the network's name and whether it is encrypted, and only on your device.
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Ward → Cancel. Cancelling is handled entirely by Apple; we cannot do it for you. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases at the top right. If that does not help, make sure you are signed in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then write to us with the date of purchase.
Check Settings → Notifications → Ward on your iPhone. Note that notifications about new breaches only go to addresses under active monitoring, which requires a subscription.
Yes. Signing in with Apple is optional and exists only so your data can be recovered on another device or after reinstalling.
In the app: Profile → Delete account. It is immediate and irreversible. If you cannot open the app, see the account deletion page.
No, and neither can anyone else. Published breach data cannot be recalled. What Ward does is tell you what is exposed and what you can still change.
If you have found a vulnerability in Ward, please write to ward@sheriff.com.ua with the details before disclosing it publicly. We will acknowledge within two working days.
